It has been 8 days since my last entry, mainly because I have been too busy in court to take care of such matters. While it has become clear that the devil is prominent in this town of Salem… I am weighed with guilt still, for having to sign away the life of some accused, without being sure that they were with the Devil. It is spring of 1692. I, Reverend John Hale, have been summoned to the town of Salem Massachusetts, to confirm, and to help remove, an episode of witchcraft. With me, I have taken a selection of my most important texts, for they will be of much use in determining the presence of such demons and witchery. I shall document the experience for my records.
